The Alcohol Care Team provides support to inpatients at ELHT admitted due to alcohol-related issues or harm, and inpatients at ELHT that have been identified as someone that would benefit from support.

The Childrens Observation and Assessment Unit 2 (COAU 2) provides a 24 hour service to children from birth to 16 years old who have been referred by their GP, the Emergency Department, the Urgent Care Centre, Walk-in Centres, Health Visitors, Midwives or Social Services for a second opinion or for a period of observation.
The Childrens Outpatient Department sees children and young people at Burnley General and Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospitals.
