The World Health Organisation has set global targets for the elimination of hepatitis C as a public health threat by 2030.The NHS aims to find and cure tens of thousands of people with hepatitis C as part of a ground-breaking deal that could help England become the first country in the world to eliminate the deadly virus.
Twenty-four operational delivery networks have been set up in each area of England. Lancashire and South Cumbria ODN is working locally towards implementing NHS England’s goal of eliminating hepatitis C in the UK ahead of the WHO global target of 2030. In doing so we aim to provide a safe, personal, and effective service with compassion to our patients and our partner organisations in order to support our patients through treatment.
