What we do

The General Office provides the following services:

  • Reimbursed travel costs to patients who are eligible to claim expenses
  • Payment service for replacement hearing aids
  • Interviews for overseas visitors receiving hospital treatment
  • Invoices for private patients

How to access the service

You are welcome to call in person to any of the General Offices if you are visiting the hospital or you may like to speak to a member of our team by calling the relevant number listed below under the ‘General Enquiries’ section.

Where to find us

Our service can be accessed at the following locations:

Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital

When you enter the main entrance, turn right.

Go up the stairs (or the lift) just past the parking office on the right-hand side.

Go through the door in-front of the lifts at the top of the stairs and the General Office window is on your right-hand side.

Burnley General Teaching Hospital

When you enter Area 7 (where the bus stop is), there is a reception desk on the right hand side.

Our General Office is situated behind this reception desk.

The Trust Cashiers team is situated to the right.
