East Lancashire DVT Service
Our DVT Service is an innovative collaboration between Primary Care and Secondary Care.
We provide a ‘one stop shop’ including same day clinical assessment, investigations i.e. bloods tests, Doppler venous US scan and initiation of appropriate treatment, if required, for all patients referred to our service.
Our clinic is run by highly trained doctors, Nurses, and Vascular Sonographers.
Our working hours
Monday to Friday, 8am til 8pm (we accept referrals from 8am til 5:30pm)

How to access the service
We accept referrals from all GP surgeries, physiotherapy clinics, Podiatry clinics, urgent care centres, accident and emergency departments and local out of hours Primary care service providers.
Patients with suspected DVT are advised to seek urgent medical help through your local GP surgery during their working hours or through other appropriate services during out of hours.
