Mr Donald Neilson is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. He was appointed in 1997.
After urology training in Manchester, Mr Neilson took up his consultant post in Blackburn. His specialist interests are in endourology and stone management as well as upper urinary tract laparoscopic surgery. He has previously been involved in running the Regional Urology Audit for several years.
His MD was in systemic sepsis associated with minimally invasive urological surgery and he has published articles on this and other general aspect of urology.
