We provide high quality healthcare services primarily to the residents of East Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen, which have a combined population in the region of 530,000.
The Trust provides a wide range of health care services to our location population. So, whether you work as a doctor, nurse or other health professional or as a porter, receptionist, in finance or catering – working here means that you are helping make a difference to the people who rely on us for their healthcare needs.
As you would expect from a Trust providing a complete healthcare package to a population of over half a million, we offer a wide variety of career opportunities from permanent roles to volunteers, bank, locum or even work experience.
Our main hospital sites have undergone significant transformation over the past few years and this has resulted in Royal Blackburn Hospital having one of the largest Emergency Departments in the country, a centralised Paediatric service as well as providing high quality care in a wide range of specialities.
Burnley General Hospital has also received substantial investment which has seen the building of the new Integrated Urgent Care Centre and the Lancashire Women and Newborn Centre.
