Caroline is a Registered Midwife and is qualified in specialist neonatal midwifery.
She has been a senior Midwife within the service at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust's Neonatal unit since 2013 and became the Matron for the service in 2016.
She is passionate about the care of families, particularly as the neonatal environment is often an unexpected element of the patient and family journey.
The nursing philosophy is that parents are at the heart of the service, and the unit strives to support this by implementing family integrated care.
