Dr. Seethamraju did her undergraduate and postgraduate training in India. She undertook further paediatric and neonatal training in the Northwest Deanery working in various hospitals in Manchester and Liverpool. She did the North-West Deanery Postgraduate Medical Education Fellowship and a certified course in Medical Ethics from World Medical Association. She obtained her CCT in 2014. She has been a Consultant Neonatologist in India from 2014 to 2019 and helped establish and run one of the tertiary NICU hospitals for the biggest corporate children’s Hospital in India. She specialises in training doctors and nurses in the care of extreme preterm and low birth weight babies using simulation-based education. She has been appointed as a full time Consultant Neonatologist at East Lancashire in 2020.
