What we do

The Children’s ASD service is a fully dedicated assessment service which is delivered within the Community Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics Service to improve autism assessment services for children and families. We offer autism assessments for children aged 0-16yrs.

How to access the service

A referral must be made by a relevant professional who has concerns about autism and knows the child well and consent from a parent/guardian essential and must be shown on form.

Please refer any child with concerns under four years directly to the Community Paediatricians and also consider an audiology and Speech and Language Therapy referral (this does not need to be on autism referral form).

You can access the form here.

(Please note that this document is not in an accessible format and is for you to download and complete and send back to us at the below email address)
