Look Good Feel Better introduce make-up workshops for women living with cancer

On the 26 September national cancer support charity, Look Good Feel Better, launched their 107th Workshop location at Burnley General Teaching Hospital - offering free skincare and make-up support to local women living with cancer.

Grateful family donate iPads in memory of beloved husband and father

The family and friends of Burnley man, Tom Macadam, who sadly passed away and had previously benefitted from treatment at BGTH have generously donated to provide new iPads for use by East Lancashire Hospitals’ cancer nurse specialists.

£500 donation to set up Samaritan helpline for all patient phones

Al-khair Foundation, a well-known international charity that assists with many local and national issues, including loneliness and mental health, have donated £500 to local hospital charity ELHT&Me as part of a mental health initiative for patients at East Lancashire Hospitals Trust (ELHT).
