Pre Pregnancy Immunisations - Measles
The best way to prevent measles is through vaccination, please ensure your family are vaccinated. If you are pregnant you will not be able to have the MMR vaccine, if you are planning to become pregnant you are able to get the vaccine, please book in with your GP once your baby is born.
Most older children and adults are immune to measles and therefore very unlikely to catch it. If you are pregnant and unsure of your immunity to measles please seek advice from GP.
