“It is with great sadness that I confirm the death of Yvonne Grimes, a member of our Research Team, who will be remembered for her commitment to patient care, her kindness and as a valued friend and colleague to many at ELHT.
Yvonne passed away on Tuesday 8 December after a short illness. She will be greatly missed by all who worked with her and knew her.
Yvonne, a Diabetes Research Nurse, will have served the Trust for 45 years in January, after retiring and returning to continue to support the Research Community. Yvonne’s loss will be felt deeply by many of her colleagues and friends at ELHT, particularly those in the Directorate of Education Research and Innovation.
