We are delighted to present the Employee of the Month award for June to Rebecca Baxter.
Rebecca is a Theatres Team Manager and this is what her team member Emily Hill had to say about her: “For the last 6 months I have worked under the management of a lady called Rebecca Baxter in theatres and she has completely turned our working environment around. As you are well aware, the last 12 months have been an absolute rollercoaster and at times it’s felt like we were actually working in a war zone.
“As you can imagine, this all has taken its toll on our teams psychological well-being. Recently, I began to feel the burn so approached her for support. Within a week I went from being completely burned out, wanting to leave the department to feeling positive and looking forward to my future on the department. She listened with empathy and reacted with stealth.
“Following this, other conversations with my colleagues have occurred and we unanimously agree that this lady is nothing short of amazing. She’s an absolute role model for the trust and adheres to our key values in her management style. She will NEVER ever ask you to do anything that she won’t do herself, she’s ALWAYS there for you and she’s just an absolute joy to work for.
“This lady is paramount to the restoration of our department’s wellbeing and I feel that she is an absolutely key member of the theatre team moving forward.
Rebecca clearly demonstrates the Trust values and goes above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of her team. Well done Rebecca, you are a huge asset to ELHT and thoroughly deserve this award.
