East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is currently carrying out a survey to find out what patients think about the care they received when they attended our Emergency Department or Urgent Care Centres at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital and Burnley General Teaching Hospital, and the Minor Injuries Unit at Accrington Victoria Hospital.  This survey is part of the NHS National Patient Survey Programme.

If you were treated at one of these departments during September 2018, you may have received a questionnaire asking about your experience.

Obtaining feedback from patients and taking account of their views is really important for bringing about improvements in the quality of care. Therefore, if you have received a questionnaire, we would really appreciate it if you could take a little time to fill this in and return it.

The survey closes on the 19 March 2019.

Results from the survey will help us to identify areas where there is room for improvement and we will work with our staff to use the feedback to help improve patient’s experiences at the Trust.

People’s responses are confidential and the results of the survey will be presented in a form that does not allow any individual’s answers to be identified.  The results will be published later this year.
