Ambulatory emergency care unit HCA Awais is our employee of the month

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust’s Employee of the Month accolade for March has been awarded to Awais Haroon.

Awais, who works as a Healthcare Assistant in the ​​​​​​Ambulatory emergecny care unit AECU), was nominated by fellow team members who said:

“Awais is a pleasure to work with and nothing is ever too much trouble. He is an honest and reliable team member who works above and beyond to ensure the AECU remains safe, and patients are comfortable during their stay here. We really admire his professionalism and willingness to help. Awais is a truly invaluable member of the team and such dedication deserves to be acknowledged”

Martin Hodgson, Deputy Chief Executive, was delighted to present the award and said:

“The last year has been extremely busy for all our staff, so I am delighted that we can continue to give individuals the recognition they deserve.
