All Trust employees complete a Conflict Resolution e-Learning package from e-Learning for Healthcare.
The Trust also provide Understanding and Managing Challenging Behaviour Training which includes breakaway techniques. This training is provided for colleagues working in high-risk areas e.g. A&E, AMU, however any colleague can attend the training. To deliver this training, ELHT trainers have completed an initial Understanding and Managing Behaviours that Challenges Key Trainers Certificate and attend yearly updates provided by EDGE Services.
The Security Team is employed by Equans, and they provide all relevant training.
