Jasper is owned by a member of staff and Alfie is owned by the ELHT & Me Charity.
2. How much was paid for each dog.
This is not applicable to Jasper and is unknown.
For Alfie, the fee was £2500.
3. How were the dogs paid for and who covers vet bills and any other associated expenses, including training and insurance.
For Jasper, the Trust covers specialist grooming products and routine annual vaccinations associated with therapy dog work.
For Alfie, the Charity covers training, grooming, veterinary needs, and insurance.
4. Are the dogs paid a salary or do they receive any other remuneration. How much is this please.

5. If the dog is owned by a member of staff, does that member of staff receive any additional remuneration on account of the dog.
No.
6. How were the dogs selected? Where have they chosen and then a handler selected, or did the handler already have the dog?
Jasper was already owned by a member of staff. Jasper and staff member completed the formal training for the role.
Alfie was selected from an approved breeder, who specialise in providing dogs suitable for training as therapy dogs. The handler was selected for this dog afterwards.
7. If the Trust, or it's subsidiary charity, paid for a dog, what would happen to the dog should their handler leave and any associated funds that have been attributed to the dog.
This is not applicable to Jasper.
Alfie will remain in the ownership of ELHT & Me Charity.
