Oxygen would never be rationed where there is a clinical need. Appropriate use of medical gas would be managed through local policy and procedure, regular review of patients and oxygen requirements and ensuring a supply of piped and cylinder oxygen as well as oxygen concentrators.

The Trust is not aware of any patients moved due to bed shortages specifically because of Covid-19.
