For best supportive care patients are referred to the primary or secondary care palliative care team. Services are also available from two local hospices (Pendleside and East Lancashire). Another hospice offers day services (Rosedale).
There is our East Lancashire Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service who also support patients and families during their cancer journey throughout.
ELHT also have a dedicated bereavement team.
