- When do you start the tendering process when the contract is due to expire? Would normally be 3 months prior to contract expiry, if operationally we are able, but it would not be an official tender since we can direct to award through a framework.
- Did you procure the Teleradiology services via a tender process? No, direct award via framework.
- Which framework do you use for teleradiology services? NHSSC
- Does the trust have a backlog of X-Ray, CT and MRI scans? If so how many? The numbers fluctuate in line with current clinical pressures and reporting resources but currently they are CT 700, MR 1000, X-ray 1500
- Does the trust expect the usage of teleradiology services to increase in the next 3 years? Unable to provide a response to this as future clinical pressures and Radiologist / radiographer establishment is unknown.
- Who deals with the procurement of contracts for teleradiology? The LPC DCS team
