Makes approx. 10 portions

Ingredients: 

  • Nine overripe bananas, cut into 1cm pieces and frozen (approx. 
  • 120g) 
  • 185ml almond milk (6g) 
  • One tablespoon vanilla extract (0g) 
  • 60g unsweetened cocoa nibs or 90% dark chocolate (0g) 
  • 50g toasted almond flakes (0g) 

Method: 

1. Whizz the banana, milk and vanilla extract in a food processor for 2-3 minutes until smooth. ( the mixture will become hard and crumbly before it turns creamy). You will need to do this in batches 

2. Transfer each batch to a large, then stir in the almonds and chocolate. 

3. Transfer to a container – it should make about 1.25l. You should get approx. 10 portions from this. 

4. Serve immediately or keep in the freezer. Halve the amount if you do not want such a large amount. 

Total carbs = 120g + 6g =126g. 10 servings - 126÷10 = 12.6 = 13g carbs per portion
