Members of Brierfield’s Cactus Line Dancing Club celebrated the club’s 21st birthday by stepping out in support of the East Lancashire Breast Clinic.

The club, which meets three times a week at Brierfield Working Men’s Club in Walter Street, has supported North West Air Ambulance and Rosemere Cancer Foundation, as well as £1,000 for the Trust’s new East Lancashire Breast Clinic at Burnley General Teaching Hospital.

Dance teacher Pam Hartley, who founded the club, said: “Raising money for local charities is something we’ve always done and which members are keen to continue. Over the years, we must have raised well over £50,000 for local causes.”
