UPDATE - effective from 2 December 2021

We have now successfully rectified the issue with our phone lines and they are now operating as usual. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused and appreciate your cooperation whilst we worked to fix this. Thank you.

We are continuing to experience issues with the telephone services coming into the hospital.

We are still dealing with an ongoing issue with the phone service providing direct dial services into Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital (numbers 01254 73xxxxxx).

We also have a power issue with the phone service providing direct dial services into Burnley General Teaching Hospital (number 01282 80xxxx). This means phone calls can be received, but users can not make calls out to external numbers.

In the meantime, the connections for these services have been diverted to switchboard. All calls for the Trust are having to be managed by the switchboard team. The connections to the switchboard are very busy and some users may struggle to connect their calls.

We are working with the suppliers to rectify these issues as soon as we can.

We will send out further updates as we receive them.

We apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused and appreciate your cooperation at this time.
