Give a little, gain a lot - volunteer at ELHT&Me!

East Lancashire Hospital Trusts charity, ELHT&me, are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to work in our Fundraising Team to help increase our engagement with new and existing supporters. This is a great opportunity to gain fundraising experience and to be an active and important team member to working towards improving patient experience across East Lancashire.

If you are over 16, good at communicating with people, enjoy helping others and would like to develop your own skills, we would like to hear from you.

We generally ask that all volunteers commit at least three hours a week for a minimum of six months. This generally ensures that both the volunteer and the service area benefit from the arrangement.

Why volunteer?

  • Feel a sense of accomplishment – helping ELHT&Me is a rewarding experience
  • Become part of the team improving patient experience across East Lancashire
  • Learn new skills – the skills volunteers learn through charity work can further personal development and open doors  for the future employment
  • Find out more about what a difference charitable giving can do.
  • Meet new people – one of the most enriching aspects of volunteer work
  • Contribute to the community. Whether you have a lot of spare time or very little, all volunteers make an important contribution. It’s a great way to give something back!
