Julian joined the Trust on 1 August 2025 from the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust where he worked as Medical Director for seven years.
Julian is a consultant cardiologist by background and has worked at Liverpool Royal and Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital with extensive experience in medical management roles.
Julian said, “I am a Northerner through and through and I'm really pleased to be coming home. I know it's a really great organisation that does really good work for the patients in the local community and I am delighted to be part of that.”
