Professor Andrew Ireland is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students and Teaching) at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), providing strategic leadership across the organisation in the areas of student experience, teaching excellence, curriculum design and student support services.
He sponsors a substantial cross-institutional transformation programme determining the ‘University of the Future’, with a focus on curriculum delivery, and reforms concerning the Lifelong Learning Entitlement. In addition, he is the Head of the Burnley Campus in East Lancashire.
