The therapy dog does not receive any salary.
The Therapy Dog Practitioner is a paid member of staff. The remedial costs of the therapy dog are provided for by the Trust Charity ELHT & Me.

See above, the Therapy Dog Practitioner is a Trust employee (Band 5 for 21.5 hours).

There is a Standard Operating Procedure in relation to the Therapy Dog Service. Please see attachment.

The therapy dog does not breach any infection prevention and control standards or guidance. There is strict adherence to the Trusts policies on this matter and it is under regular review by the Infection, Prevention & Control Team.
