What AI systems the trust is using/piloting, what for and from when?

·       Heartflow - detection of coronary heart disease used in Radiology used since 2023

·       CLEARnote AVT - development partners with 33N on an AVT solution. Started in POA in Sept 2024

·       Oracle AVT - planning to trial our EPR suppliers AVT agent in January 2026

·       Helptalk - Have trialled this AI enhanced translation tool from DA Languages for non-clinical conversation as an alternative to other widely available commercial translation apps but uptake was very poor, so we have discontinued the trial. Ran from September to end of November.

Does the trust have an AI strategy?

The organisation has a digital strategy of which AI plays a part, but we do not have a separate AI strategy as yet.

Does the trust have an AI ethics committee?

We have an AI steering group under which ethical use would be considered.

Do you have a register of the AI algorithms in use at the trust, and when they were certified for use?

We have a systems asset register that highlights any system in use with an AI element.

Have you, or are you planning to roll out ambient voice in the next 12 months?

Yes, we have been using in POA since last year and are planning to roll this out trust wide where it can be appropriately and safely deployed
