Dr Ley has been Consultant in Rheumatology and Acute Medicine at ELHT since January 2010. He qualified at the University of Wales - College of Medicine in 1999 and undertook postgraduate medical training in the South Wales and Yorkshire Regions.
He is Lead consultant for the early arthritis clinic and runs a combined clinic with the Specialist nurse and Extended scope physiotherapist in Rawtenstall.
Dr Ley sees patients at Royal Blackburn Teaching Hospital, Burnley General Teaching Hospital and at Rossendale Primary health care Centre.
Areas of special interest: Early inflammatory Arthritis, Rheumatoid Disease, Crystal Arthropathy, and Vasculitis.
Outside interests include running and rugby union.
