Christmas in hospital can be difficult, but you can help East Lancashire Hospital Trust’s official charity – ELHT&Me, make a real difference by supporting our Christmas activities.

We know that for some patients, Christmas can be a particularly lonely time, especially if they do not have any visitors or family nearby to visit them in hospital. With our Give a Gift campaign, we hope to be able to bring some festive cheer to those who are unable to celebrate Christmas at home with their families, by ensuring every patient receives a gift on Christmas Day. We have created an Amazon Wish list, for people to easily and safely send a gift from the comfort of their homes. Using our Amazon Wishlist is the perfect way to brighten someone's day - be that a patient on one of our Children's Wards, or a patient alone living with dementia who will be surrounded only by our colleagues. Our Give a Gift for Christmas Wish List is a great alternative to making a donation, however, if you would like to donate financially, we have lots of ways that you can give. Perhaps you join in our Christmas Sock Day, Wednesday 7 December, and spend the day flaunting your festive fashion. Please text NHS 2 to 70085 to donate £2 or simply visit our Just Giving page to make a donation. You can also join us and sign up to walk, run, swim or toddle a Merry Mile and put the fun in fundraising for our patients this festive season. Sign up here

We're also giving you the chance to win £1,000 in time for the big day with Win a Grand for Christmas - enter here.

Additionally, we invite you to join us in remembering loved ones this Christmas, by dedicating an angel on our virtual Christmas Tree here. To light up a life, simply pick an angel on the tree, make a donation and write your personal dedication to remember your loved one(s). We are also stocking beautiful pin badges and these make thoughtful tokens - shop here.
